What types of virtualization do you use?

We use XEN and OpenVZ virtualization technologies.

Xen is a technology which allows running several operating systems on one computer hardware simultaneously. Xen virtualization technology is used by numerous hosting providers as Xen allows to isolate virtual servers from each other at high level of security and reliability. It makes it possible running different operating systems on several virtual servers which are run on the same physical carrier.

OpenVZ is an operating system-level virtualization technology. OpenVZ allows running multiple secure isolated operating containers (VPSs) on a single physical server ensuring that applications do not conflict. Each VPS executes exactly like an independent server; it can be rebooted, it can have multiple IP addresses assigned to it, it has its own processes, files, applications, system libraries and configuration files, and the server holder is provided with root (superuser) rights and permissions.
