How to connect to your server via SSH?
SSH (Secure Shell) is a network protocol used to connect securely t a remote computer. SSH is the default connection method we offer for our servers (unless you have a control panel, then you will also have web access). To connect via SSH to your server from Windows you need an SSH client, like Putty. Download Putty. In connection settings paste host, port, login and password.
When you enter password, it won't be displayed and the cursor will stay in its place. Once you enter a password, press Enter. This feature is used for security reasons, so that no one could peek at your password. By the way, Ctrl+V doesn't worl here too. To paste from clipboard, use a mouse Right Click. |
